Rosemary essential oil has many properties, which allow it to be used in the treatment of the most diverse ailments.
In detail, following its oral intake, rosemary essential oil exerts both an antispasmodic activity on the digestive system and bile ducts, and a choleretic activity ; while if applied externally, this oil is able to exert an analgesic and slightly revulsive action.
Rosemary essential oil has also been shown to possess antioxidant, antibacterial , antiviral and antiparasitic properties , to which are added skin-purifying , astringent , deodorant and toning properties.
